Does Garner have no confidence in Redding? When the Astros lost to the Braves
I thought Garner should have used Redding instead of Weathers. Weathers gives
up a tying two-run homer and the Astros ultimately lose. Now again Graner
brings Weathers in against the Expos with the game on the line. Maybe Weathers
will do OK; however, his track record of blowing leads is one of the worst in
the Astros bullpen. Now I see Garner brings in Harville to replace Weathers
after he (Weathers) allowed the first two batters in the 7th to reach base. I
also see Harville made a throwing error on a bunt. This is about the 3rd
throwing error Harville has made in his last 5-6 appearances. The guy can not
field his position at all. Weathers and Harville come in and were up 3-2, now
were down 5-3.

Again, I ask, do we not have anyone in the minors who can pitch at this level
and not hurt us when the game is on the line? Our bullpen is killing the
Astros attempt for the wild card. Come on GM Hunsicker you have got to make
some moves or the season is going to be over real quick. Our bullpen is
costing us too many games.
