Post subject: Baseball in Comic Books and Strips

Does anybody recall, especially from horror comics, comics with an
Alien invasion theme, or even 1950's comic strips any comics dealing
with baseball. After the 1950's I pretty much stopped reading comics so
I might not get any later references.

I remember some really weird ones but I will not trouble you all unless
you show a fair amount of interest.

Pogo had the best series I've read on baseball, about 15 years ago IIRC.
Of course, by the end of the strip's run, they had evolved into football
and then I think went through the looking glass.
