Yep. He was moved back to reliever a couple weeks ago and he's given
up 2 runs in 8+ innings in 6 outings as a relief pitcher.
He was a reliever for the whole year in Macon and had a very good year
with an ERA around 3, but was moved back to starter for the last 2+
years with spotty results.
There are also rumors floating around Mississippi that Vasquez will
follow Boyer very soon to Atlanta's roster within 48 hours.
Lerew was supposed to pitcher yesterday or today for AA, but wasn't
listed as starter and Wright who normally pitches after Lerew in the
sort of "5" man minor league rotation was scheduled today. This
fueled speculation that Lerew might be called up to make the start
on Tuesday, but now Sosa has been announced on the TV broadcast.
