Maybe it's time to start cleaning the house. The Tribe, despite injuries, is
completely uninspired. It's as though they are plodding through the games
just hoping they finish so they can go home. I blame this attitude on Wedge
and his coaching staff. Where is the fire? Someone has to light one even
though there is little chance of contending. I feel as though Wedge is just
trying to get through like his players.

Blake...He can help a team with decent hitting, good attitude,
the ability to play multiple positions, and he'd be cheap.

Hopefully the Tribe won't give up on FG.
Doubt that they'd get anything for Garko.

Yeah 6 or 7 and in my opinion CB is the most under-rated player on the
roster, he's probably looking for a raise now, who knows. (not cheap)

He will be tough to replace.

I predict great things for Victor Martinez - As a Yankee or Red Sox. :-)

Tigers to get home field advantage! - AL 5 NL 4

Pretty quiet for a first place club... - Come on folks, where's the chatter? Last year at the break weren't the Indians like 14 games out or some such thing? This year, they're in a first place tie with Detroit. The second half looks so promising!

Transactions - Rodriguez off DL; Santiago to Buffalo - Ricardo Rodriguez was activated off the DL and Jose Santiago was sent to Buffalo. Now, I lived in upstate NY for a time, so I am pretty familiar with I-90 from Cleveland to Buffalo. Do you think Jose Santiago pretty much has all the exits memorized yet...

Victor Martinez to Cleveland - Several Cleveland radio stations reported a few moments ago that Josh Bard has been sent to Triple-A Buffalo, and 24-year-old catcher/firstbaseman Victor Martinez will be in an Indians uniform for Saturday's Indians-Reds game.
