I think with the way Guillen is playing at 3rd, he is the next year's 3rd
baseman.. they may sign Sanchez again if they cannot get the "other Matsui"
from Japan..

Will anyone in the league take Cirillo for next 2 years, if the M's pay a
part (say 50% - 60%) of the salary? What about the Rockies, Coors Field may
restore Cirillo's career again !! Smile

I am sure someone will take Cirillo but I think we would have to eat a lot
of his contract.
I dont know if I want the pelvis on 3B next season. I think Carlos is good
for about 90-100 games before breaking down. I hope we bid hard for Matsui
for SS.

The glaring problem I see is 1B, and DH. And possibly Cammy's replacement
if he walks.

We need to upgrade at 1B. I love Johnny O but I dont think I can take
another subpar season like this one from him.

I would really like to see Carlos brought back as a bench player. A
McLemore type.
His hitting is keeping us alive right now

What do you mean? Carlos is much more than a "bench/utility" player
(McLemore types). He will play next year at 3rd base if we can get someone
at SS. Otherwise Carlos will be our SS. Granted he wont be healthy for all
games, we have to fill that up with players like Sanchez, Desi
Relaford/McLemore type utilities...

Guillen might be one of our top five valuable players. He's a superb #2
hitter behind Ichiro.
