This just in.......The Charlotte WhiteSox defeated the Cleveland
Indians in what was a must win game for the Tribe. Oh well, maybe
next year.

The loss tonight had to hurt the Tribe, who had been sailing along
until the last 4 games. The way I see it though the Tribe still can
win the AL Wild Card by,

Bos/NY 94-66 (2 games left)
Cleveland 93-67 (2 games left)

If either Bos or NY wins the next two, then all the Tribe has to do is
win 1 game to tie for the wild card. In this scenario, if the Tribe
wins the final two games they'd be the wild card winner.

If Bos and NY split the final two games, Cleveland would have to win
the final two games for a tie for the wild card. Then there would be a
one game contest for the wild card.
