I predict great things for Victor Martinez - As a Yankee or Red Sox. :-)

Tigers to get home field advantage! - AL 5 NL 4

Pretty quiet for a first place club... - Come on folks, where's the chatter? Last year at the break weren't the Indians like 14 games out or some such thing? This year, they're in a first place tie with Detroit. The second half looks so

Transactions - Rodriguez off DL; Santiago to Buffalo - Ricardo Rodriguez was activated off the DL and Jose Santiago was sent to Buffalo. Now, I lived in upstate NY for a time, so I am pretty familiar with I-90 from Cleveland to Buffalo. Do you think Jose Santiago pretty much has all the exits memorized yet?

Victor Martinez to Cleveland - Several Cleveland radio stations reported a few moments ago that Josh Bard has been sent to Triple-A Buffalo, and Victor Martinez will be in an Indians uniform for game.

It happened last October 4th vs. the NYY, and the Tribe had tried to keep it
hidden,
hoping that he'd pitch through it.

Not real sure that's the truth. Same with Batting Practice pitcher
Borowski. When a player goes on the D.L. insurance picks up about 75%
of their salary while under performing players try to get straightened
out in minors. Suspicious.
