Here Comes Coffee! - He seems to remind me of my youth and the late Moe Drabowski when he pitched for the Reds in relief, I used to pray they wouldn't pick him to come in, every time they would and it was I will try to look up his stats for that year , anybody..

Coffee - My Pet Peeve again this year. Should we reward him with another contract, I am afraid he will , like last year cost us more games. He is Snakebit!

What IS Wrong With Coffee - He seems like he just has problems when he comes in in relief, Not just once in a while but all the time.Is it that all he has is a fastball?

get a starbucks coffee card from me @ darkshad@sympatico.ca - get a starbucks coffee card from me @ and go to starbucks and treat yourself to a TALL VANILLA LATTE, BANANA BREAD and a BLUEBERRY MUFFIN & WITH WHIP CREAM ON them THIS IS LIKE A HUMMER IT'S SO GOOD AND JAMIE THE BOX MAN..

Still think it was Narron? - on the DL, with an MRI so it looks like it might be worse than the beat guys thought earlier in the week. That's bad enough. The absolute worse news is that his callup is none other than..... wait for

From John Fay's blog:

*Coffey out; Bray in*

The Reds called up left-hander Bill Bray and optioned right-hander Todd
Coffey to Triple-A Louisville.

Here's the release:

Today the Reds recalled from Class AAA Louisville LHP Bill Bray (#45)
and optioned to Louisville RHP Todd Coffey.

In 8 apps for the Bats Bray went 0-0, 1.04 with 1 save (8.2ip, 4h, 1er,
3bb, 14k, 1hr, .133oba)...he began spring training with a sore left
shoulder and didn't appear in an exhibition game until 3/12...finished
the spring with a 3.68era in 6 apps (7.1ip, 5h, 3er, 2bb, 6k) before he
was optioned to the minors the day before camp broke.

Coffey posted a 6.46era in 14 relief apps for the Reds.

I can't see why this took so damned long. Think of the games this cat has
given away or nearly given away, single handedly.

His cup of self was far too long.

C'mon, this isn't that hard... Corey Patterson is still with the club and
still eating $3 million this year. Bronson Arroyo is still horrible so far
this year, and Aaron Harang still can't get any run support.

See, it's not that hard to find things to complain about!
