To Tyler-
I think your wrong in your opinion about bulldozing Yankee Stadium down.
There is so much History their. I know G.S. has been meeting and making
his plans for a new stadium, he is wrong too. I don"t want to see a new
stadium built.
Die Hard Yankee Fan Except Johnny Damon
P.S.- All the great Yankee Players, have played their. >> Stay informed about: Bulldozing Yankee Stadium |

I hadn't thought of the music. Now I'm trying to remember if the
Beatles and Stevie Wonder played there or at Shea? >> Stay informed about: Bulldozing Yankee Stadium |

Tuesday, the Yankees detailed a plan that included some modifications
to address community concerns. One result would be the removal of the
last architectural remnants of the original stadium to create a more
central park. >> Stay informed about: Bulldozing Yankee Stadium |

Beatles were at Shea. So was the Chuck Wepner vs. Andre The Giant
rumble. >> Stay informed about: Bulldozing Yankee Stadium |

Twice as a matter of fact, I just found out. Did an Ask Jeeves
question. During one of those concerts was there an incident where
Stevie Wonder nearly fell into the crowd? It's been so long.

Didn't know this ever took place. Wish you hadn't told me. I can
barely live with myself now, knowing I missed it. No chance of a
rematch is there? Maybe they'll have an anniversary program. >> Stay informed about: Bulldozing Yankee Stadium |

Yes, but it was always my understanding that the field itself was going
to stay in place.

The original plan was to keep the field along with the lower deck of
the stadium. The new plan implies the lower deck is gone. I'm not sure
if the field will remain as is or will become part of a larger park. >> Stay informed about: Bulldozing Yankee Stadium |

Beatles at Shea. Stevie... don't know.
However, I was at the Billy Joel concert in '89 at the Stadium. >> Stay informed about: Bulldozing Yankee Stadium |
