Highlight of the Sunday game for me was the screaming match
between Larry Bowa and Davey Lopes.... bringing back memo-
ries of the Dodger - Philly rivalry of the 1970s...

Tommy LaSorda vs. ex-Dodger coach Danny Ozark in the
1977 and 1978 NLCS... Lopes at 2B for LA and Bowa the
SS for Philadelphia.

Both were here in San Diego later on as manager (Bowa)
and 1st base coach (Lopes),

Any opinions ?

Personally, I thought the highlight was when Kuroda went over the
cover first when Victorino grounded out. Victorino started
yelling at Kuroda, who doesn't even speaks English, but I guess
he got the point anyway. This struck me as very funny.

As a kid I first started watching the Dodgers during the '77
season, so it kind of kills me that I am taking Bowa's side over
Lopes. Ah, the difference a uniform makes.

IMHO Lopes looks like Cheech Marin and Bowa is a pill-popping psycho.
