It basically gave credit to these castoffs who had forged a competitive team
when everyone had them losing 120+ games, and how a bunch of pitchers with
no pedigree had all forged between 1 and 6 victories a piece, and how no
long ball hitter had emerged from the team giving up (fill in the blank from
Hernandez to Vidro and Soriano) and how Bowden and Kasten had put this bunch
of ragamuffins together, but it didn't even mention Acta's name in all of
this. I just thought someone needed to point out Manny's contribution to
this team.
