This guy is amazing. Gets up to bat and looks like he doesnt have a thing to
worry about.. then just kills it.. hardly ever gets excited... just killed
two balls today... the guy is definately an all star...

He lost some snoopy cool points in the 9th last night on the foul pop he
missed.

And when they did get the third out, did Mench taunt the Mariners? I'm not
too sure what to think about that. Maybe the cockiness is good, it just
makes me cringe when I think of how cocky football and basketball has
become. I would hate to see baseball go that direction.

Today's Star-Telegram says that he MAY go on a rehab assignment on
August 23, one week from today. He can throw now but needs to build up
strength.

I thought he was a little above average player-no super star...I would trade
him for more power at third base... he is only 27-but had 3 good years
2003-5 and has dropped off considerably-I don't know him and moved to Dallas
in 2004.

thinkin' that it might be a good idea if the Rangers let him play 1B
for the rest of the season.

was the hottest thing around there for a bit. hit for power, average,
and went errorless for about a million games. hit that big homer late
in the all-star game a few years back.
