Yikes! I hope Barrett at least got in a couple of good punches!
Seriously, two
black eyes and busted lips - sounds like Zambrano went too far with this
fight. One
black eye is ok. A busted lip is ok. But two black eyes, busted lips, and
sending
Barrett to the hospital? Way too violent on Zambrano's part. Cubs better
suspend
him for at least two weeks.
Wasn't it last year when the White Sox swept the Cubs and Barrett popped
the White Sox player in the face at home plate? The White Sox were making
the
Cubs their b*tch. Nobody on the team was doing anything about it accept
Barrett.
I respected Barrett for what he did then. No, I don't believe in violence.
But
Barrett wasn't going to take it anymore. So the one guy that showed heart
last year
gets beat up by Head Case Zabrano this year. Zabrano's tantrums have gone
too far.
If he can't be saved then trade him now. |

Which report mentioned 2 black eyes? I only saw a busted lip reported.
