Ah, that would be so nice to sweep the Tigers again. We will need to hit
the ball... Tigers horrible pitching, but they have been hitting the ball
well. It should be fun!

Good luck!
I'm hoping to make it back down to Kauffman in June for the St. Louis
series. That is always a blast, great rivalry! Kauffman is also one of
my favorite ballparks. Are they still debating a new stadium in KC?
I think they're nuts, Kauffman is a classic!

Off to a good start!
Greinke had a tough night, but the pen did their jobs.

Yes, off to a good start last night. The Royals had a lot of hits last
night and our pen did come through for us.

I have been to a few of the St. Louis and Royals games. Wow! There is
always a lot of red in the stadium for those games. Usually over powering
the blue. Cardinals have a good following....
They are renovating Kauffman stadium instead. It is a three phase process
I believe.... I have not been to a game yet this season, but I hear the
new jumbo tron looks good. They are going to put seats between the
fountains for next season.

The only other stadium I have been to is the Cardinals (Busch Stadium).
Growing up with Royals I certainly have a love for the park. We are
planning on going to the June 1 (Sunday afternoon) game at the K.
Later...

Hochevar tonight (2-2) against Verlander (1-6).

I did not have a chance to watch but the last three innings. Detroit
scored their two runs early in the game, so it appeared that Greinke kept
them under control. Soria had another save... and remains with a 0.00
ERA.

Yeah, it's great to see that rivalry going with half the stadium in
blue and half in red all cheering for their teams. With the Royals
playing well so far this season, they should get good crowds.

Thanks for that info, and I'm glad they decided to renovate Kauffman
instead of building a new stadium. It's a great old ball park.

I was at the old Busch stadium a couple times, but haven't been to
the new Busch stadium yet. Planning to hit that this season or next.
The Cards are another team I enjoy following, and they have a
great fan base, too.

Thanks.... I will once again catch the last few innings of the game. So
I am hoping to tune in with the Royals having a good lead.

It will be a fun series. I have never had a bad time at Royals stadium
even the last few years when they are losing lots of games. Being in the
at the stadium, watching baseball, and drinking beer it is always fun.
That is certainly not to say that when they are winning it is not a lot
better.

No problem.... Like I said, I have not been out to see it yet, but I hear
from others that it is very nice. The jumbotron they had previously was
in bad shape. Bulbs burning out and difficult to see unless you were
directly in front of it. I have seen this one on tv and it looks like a
tv. Very nice!

Ah yes. I forgot they built a new stadium there. I last went to a game
probably ten years ago. They definitely have a good fan base and I have a
few friends which are Cardinal fans.... transplanted from the Lawrence, KS
area, so they have a different take on the Cardinal fans.

Well, alright! Make that 5-0 against the Tigers this season.
Good luck tomorrow night with the sweep!

It is looking good so far going into the bottom of the seventh with the
Royals winning 7 - 3. Lots of hits.... Who would have thunk it?

Nicely done by the Royals! Two sweeps in a row of the Tigers this
season!
Of course, my Twins just got swept by the Blue Jays, too....so that's
not good.
But at least the Tigers are kept in the cellar for now.
