Watching Dempster today against the Sox's, he was throwing the ball with
more velocity and challenging the hitters. He set them up well with
fastballs and finishing them off with his good slider. Yesterday he
nibbled at the corners and really never went after the Met hitters. He has
got to be aggressive to be affective and he has to throw strikes. It
seem's to be a epedemic in the bullpen. Poor Lou never knows whoever he
brings in if they will be Dr Jekyll or Mr Hide.
But one thing we have that we did'nt have last year and that is options on
the farm. We not only have Pitchers but position players too. If the
regulars fall down, the kids will play.
