My new book -- called THE LAST NINE INNINGS -- is out. It tells the
inning by inning story of the most glorious game in D'backs history --
Game 7 of the 2001 WS.

I'll be signing books at the Barnes & Noble superstore at the Desert
Ridge Mall (Tatum Blvd and the 101 Freeway).

In addition to providing a narrative of that classic game, I
interviewed players and experts doing cutting-edge research into all
aspects of baseball -- physical mechanics, training and conditioning,
psychology, globalization, etc. I think the book provides a rare
glimpse into the way that game really unfolds on the field.

Come and relive the triumnph of 2001 as we look forward to the new
season.

When? You failed to mention date and time. I have a B&N gift card I
might be tempted to use on your book if only I knew when you'd be there.

Did you just buy it, or what?

None of them will be =his= books, but he'll be there signing random titles
nonetheless.

He works the closing shift every night, except Sundays (when Mommy won't let
him work, 'cos it's the Lord's day) and Mondays (when he just can't stand to
miss Will & Grace). Wait a few months, and you can get him to autograph a
copy of "Failure To Launch" when it hits DVD...
