I think that the following may be of interest to readers of this
group.
BCX Baseball for the Palm, version 2.4, is now shipping with
end-of-August 2003 rosters for all 30 MLB teams, using stats through
8/31.
BCX now provides monthly updates during the season. The updates are
free to registered users. Available in the first week of each month,
the packages are based on blended statistics from the prior and
current seasons.
The end-of-July release was based on 2003 stats blended with 1/3 of
each player's 2002 stats. The end-of-August release, which is now
shipping with BCX Baseball, uses 2003 stats combined with 1/6 of the
2002 stats, and so on. In this way, each player will effectively
perform in accordance with his last full year of stats.
