Arizona?!!??!?? - Jeez, I went to bed last night with the score 5-1 in the 8th and Weaver still on the mound. I guess I'll make sure to stay up as long as it takes tonight. When is the last time a team with a season record worse than Arizona made the CWS?

After playing a bunch of patsy teams with nearly all the
games in Tempe, Arizona State finally played a road series
at Stanford this last weekend.

Result: ASU now has three times as many losses as they had
a week ago. Frankly, after looking at the teams they played
to get that 27-1 record, I really can't understand why
Baseball America had them at number 1. Guess John Manuel
and company don't think strength of schedule counts for
much.

Stanford takes two out of three from the soon-to-be-formerly
number 1 team. - Tony
