We already have a log jam at third with young players. I don't think
that Kenny is as interested in Figgins this year as he was earlier.

You're right Fields can't play 3rd well, and he strikes out too much.
The guy from Atlanta is utility at best.
Kenny is probably still interested in Figgins.
Anyone know Figgins contract status?

Yeah but it would be nice to have somone that could ACTUALLY play the
position. Fields has already proven he can't hit at the major league
level and is below average defensively. The guy they picked up from
Atlanta is more of the same and the Cuban isn't near ready. Kornerko
for Figgens? Probably not as we really don't have anyone to replace
him at 1st. Dye for Figgens? In a heartbeat.

Actually, I don't disagree. It is just that it appears that KW is
going in a different direction.
