and it's not Fatso. Trade him now for whatever we can get - maybe a
reliable hitter. I've heard that some teams have them and feel they're
worth aquiring. Or perhaps a real shortstop, like the one we had before
Shapiro decided what we really needed at the position was someone slow,
fat, stupid & lazy with no stick.
Tribe Fever - catch it!*

interspersed with a few 15-run games to keep the team BA respectable... >> Stay informed about: We Have One Ace... |

Trading a Cy Young award winner after two bad outings is like
selling your '57 Chevy with an empty gas tank and 4 bald tires.
Bad idea, bad timing.
Moving Peralta to 3rd is something that the team needs to do,
but, upsetting the team "chemistry" after 96 wins is not an easy task
for Wedge/Shapiro. I think Blake would take it better than Peralta.
Now, production at LF and DH is the real elephant in the room....

Tribe taking too many pitches-strikes early in the count. It worked
well last year but now the opposing teams know they can get ahead
early in the count as Tribe hitters keep waiting. Hafner looks like he
trying for a walk instead of teeing off early in the count. Adjustment
time!!! >> Stay informed about: We Have One Ace... |

Yes. Is Hafner done? Is it a coincidence that his slide began at
precisely the same time as MLB began cracking down on performance
enhancing substances?
