Hats off to Aaron ... nice performance.

Got me to wondering about records and such:

Fewest pitches by a single pitcher in a complete game: Red Barrett, 58
pitches (10 August 1944 at Crosley Field) ... a two hitter and his Boston
Braves beat the Cincinnati Reds 2-0.

Next best was a 67 pitch game in 1915.
