If you haven't made the trip (about 3 hours from KC) to Springdale ARK
to see our AA team, you should.

The stadium is the best minor league park I've seen and for 12 dollars
you can get as close or maybe a little closer than you do in the crown
seats concessions are better than at the K - I'd suggest the chicken
drumsticks - you get three and slaw for 6 dollars. And the chicken is
really good

Rowdy Hardy is fun to watch pitch - he makes batters look silly. The
only problem is that when he loses his stuff he does so in a BIG
Hurry. He went from seven shutout innings to looking like a batting
practice pitcher in about 30 seconds.

They even have a closer who pitches like Quisenberry used to.

Plus, they're in first place by a game (they lost the game I saw)

Friday, June 27, 2003. - I got to the game at about 5:15. I watched batting practice and I must say that Tino Martinez, regardless his status as a Yank and a Card, is WAY hot, and hotter than he is on TV. The stadium seats 40,793. The attendance tonight was 40,189. It was..
