Their goal was to get 85 wins this season, and I say they won't even come
close.
Looking at their schedule, their next 16 games are vs. the M's, A's and Red
Sox. Then the play the Tribe 3 times, then play the Yanks 3 times. They will
be lucky to finish the year 78-84. It's too bad they couldn't keep up their
early season pace because they would have had control of their own destiny
having so many games against wild card contenders and then finishing the
season with 20+ games against below .500 teams.
Is it just me or has Delgado's production tailed off big time, don't if it's
the knees, or just too hot of a start to keep up.
Watching Sportsnet, I'm sick and tired of hearing Cerutti and Faulds
mentioning Doc is the leading candidate to win the CY, while he is a
contender, I can make a solid argument, Lozia, Mulder, Pedro, and Moyer are
more deserving than Doc.
