The Phils are in 1st Place!
One of the best months of May for the Phillies in a long time.
The Phils are now in first place.
By the end of the month there will probably be at least 3 Phillie hitters in
HR double figures. No other major leage team will have that.
The Phils bullpen is doing the best job that I can remember. Romero is
amazing and Lidge has more saves than Billy Wagner. And there is NO Mesa in
the bull pen.
All this without their MVP. Utley seems to be making a pretty good run
for MVP. A bad thought is that as Howard heats up Utley will cool off, but
then that's TEAM work.
