They give too much respect to the Red Sox. They have a volatile situation
there. Who knows who their next manager is and how he does. As for the Cubs,
they do have a great chance, but I wouldn't put money on them. Sometimes,
those LCS "cursed" losses have a hangover effect. Some last for weeks,
months, years, etc. This Cubs team looks resilient, but only time will tell.
Who would you rather place a $10 bet for: Brewers or Tigers? I'd go with the
Tigers. I wouldn't touch Bud Selig's team with a 10-foot-pole.

But the Sox STILL (assuming Manny stays) have a VERY "potent" offense--hard
to ignore--with the "Right Manager", it COULD get Verr-r-ry Interesting.

True, but it's still rather volatile. Things might get crazy in there. You
have to be careful.

They didnt give Marlins any respect last year, in fact the odds were much
higher than 15-1. A few of us who plopped down $100 early last year took
home a nice roll of cash!

Vegas is giving nobody respect. Odds are based upon anticipated betting
action. The Yankees, Sox and Cubs get such odds because there will be a lot
of betting on those teams.

That explains how they can give odds, when they are not even sure who will
be on the teams....
